Designer Products

Designer products are covered by a 12 or 24-month (from date of original purchase) warranty, depending on brand*. The following is covered by this warranty.

  • Delamination and/or peeling of non-prescription sun lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in non-prescription lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels
  • If we have supplied prescription lenses for a designer product, these are covered separately by our 12-month warranty

Own Brand Products

Our own products are covered by a 12-month warranty (from the date of original purchase). The following is covered by this warranty.

  • Delamination and/or peeling of lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating or frame itself
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels

What is not covered by a warranty

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches or pit marks on sun lenses)
  • Any damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of product
  • Damage caused by chemicals (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, etc…)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Loss of eyewear

Warranty Refunds

For all warranty cases, we can exchange for a like-for-like model to the same value (or more). Regrettably, we’re unable to provide full refunds for warranty claims older than 6 months, in these cases we can refund as follows:-

  • Up to 6 months – Full refund
  • 6 to 9 months – 50% refund
  • 9 to 12 (or 24 designer dependent) months – 25% refund

All warranty claims are subject to a case-by-case evaluation.
